Specsavers Aviation's documents are contained in an Acrobat Portfolio which allows easy electronic circulation to pilots and ops staff and also to other areas of the company, such as the Board members with overall responsibility for the Safety Management System.
The manual can be edited on line when the administrator wishes, but the documents are normally security protected to avoid inadvertent amendment or corruption.
Easy Access to all Aviation Documents and Forms
The folders next to the word "Google" contain other company aviation documents, including a complete set of company forms which can be either completed on line or printed off for use as a hard copy.
Other folders contain word versions of documents for easy editing or amendment and copies of the IS-BAO audit check list and SMS development tools.
Using Adobe SendNow means the large documents with images and video can be moved around electronically within the company and CAS can also help with amendments when changes are made to the IS-BAO master document or when SOPs are amended within the company.
